The Black Bamboo for this ring was discovered at the Botanical Gardens at UBC. I was requested by the garden store to find bits of nature to cast into jewelry, and this was the one item that I made a mould out of so that it could be re-created... it was just too awesome to leave as a one of a kind item. The base of the ring is bronze and then it is hard plated with 24 kt Gold, adding exceptional shine and lustre. This ring fits a variety of finger sizes due to its irregular shape and will easily fit a finger sized 5.75-7.0... very versatile! It is dainty yet funky, a perfect addition to your ring collection.

These top selling earrings were one of the first items created in this ever growing collection. Cedar is a classic BC west coast tree, and for these earrings I use Coastal Red Cedar bows. I collect these bows in the Burnaby area, from a favourite tree that produces beautiful cedar bow that is thick enough to provide superb quality castings. These beauties are cast in Bronze and then plated in 24 kt gold. I love all my jewelry yet only wear a few items consistently and the cedar bow earrings is one such item! They are stunning, light enough that they don't bother the ear lobes (gold filled ear hooks), and to top it all off look amazing!

Collected on the streets of Vancouver, this Acorn epitomized my vision of the 'perfect acorn'. I was looking for the right size and shaped acorn and discovered this beauty one day. I immediately had it cast into bronze and then proceeded to create a mould out of the original casting. This mould allows me to re-create this gem year after year. I love this cone in its natural bronze hue, but as you can see when plated in 24kt Gold it becomes even more magical. The toughest decision with this piece is not choosing whether you want it or not, but if you want it in gold, silver or bronze.
