These petite beauties come from some of the biggest trees on the B.C. West Coast. Hemlock trees tower above the forest while the bows that cradle the cones droop down as if they are embarrassed that they have the smallest cones. The cones are incredibly challenging to cast as the petals are very delicate and thin, therefore I am very picky when selecting those from the forests floor to be cast. Luckily each year I cast a few gorgeous hemlock cone gems, albeit due to the difficulty in casting, their price is a bit higher than larger counterparts. This hemlock cone is super light but has enough weight to hold down the shiny 30 inch sterling silver chain that comes with the design. If you love nature but prefer more petite designs this one should be at the top of your list.
